Every Nation must have some glorious days.To our nation.there are such days as have become glorious and memorable.Of the red letter days in our nations life,we must mention the 21st February,25th March and the 16th December.The 16th December is the most glorious and significant day for the people of Bangladesh.On that day of 1971,the Bangladesh liberation Army in co-operation with Indian forces defeated the Pakistani Army and succeeded in achieving glorious victory for Bangladesh.The country win their fight by following the leadership of the country's great leader Sheikh mujibur Rahman.

In liberation war more than 30 lacs innocent men,women and children lost their lives.Many people took shelter in India.Most of the young people from different occupation joined the fight against the Pakistan to take a revenge.After nine months the people of our country got the liberation when Pakistani Army surrendered Unconditionally to the joint command on the 16th December,1971.The eastern part of the former Pakistan became an independent sovereign state name Bangladesh.
